Morgantown, WV — Fall 2026
Every student parking option on the Evansdale, Downtown and Health Sciences campuses, plus Sunnyside and the city-run lots nearby — with GPS directions, when each lot is actually free vs. paid, live crowd-reported availability, and the bus route to take if a lot is a longer walk from the PRT.
We only list lots we've checked against published WVU and city sources, and we haven't verified the Health Sciences campus lots yet. Until we do, check WVU Transportation for official lot, price and permit details.
Tap a pin to see the price, get directions, or report how full the lot is.
Students report how full each lot is. No account needed, and your report shows up for everyone right away.
Typical day: once a lot has enough reports, its card shows how full it usually is from 6am to 10pm, and roughly when it usually fills up on weekdays or weekends.
Ranked by rough walking distance from your destination. Check the map before you commit.

Pay by the hour at a meter, pay station or ParkMobile. No permit needed.
All-day or all-semester parking you can buy without a WVU permit: the Coliseum day rate, city (MPA) garages, 10-hour city lots and meters, and the church-leased student lot.
You need a permit for that specific area. WVU permits run Aug 1–Jul 31. Private apartment lots and Sunnyside street parking use their own permits.
Based on WVU Transportation's past announcements. Treat these as the usual pattern, not this season's schedule.
Limited or unavailable from the Friday before each home game. Normal access resumes Monday.
On football and men's basketball game days, the Art Museum, Rec Center, Blaney House, Evansdale Crossing and sometimes Creative Arts Center lots become $10 flat-rate game parking (ParkMobile or pay station). Regular commuter parking there is displaced.
Closed all day if kickoff is before 3pm, or from noon for 3pm-or-later kickoffs.
Some permit areas are restricted during home football games. If yours is, you'll be told where to move and by when. Vehicles left behind may be towed.
The PRT and Mountain Line keep running on game days, and WVU recommends them over driving between buildings.
